Great leisure pool! Visisted here today from Norwich (1 hour 20 mins drive) as there are barely any decent pools in Norfolk anymore ☹️ We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the temperature was ideal, pretty warm. Only downside was that the wave machine could have been a bit better as it didnt create many waves, but we still enjoyed our time. Pleased there wasn't any time limit in place as this is so off putting, though this was a week day in term time we went and I have been told that in school holidays if busy you are only guaranteed a minimum of 1 hour in the pool, up to 90 mins max. The swimming was reasonably priced (£7.20 for adult) the showers were very warm which was great and the hairdryers were amazing; they were proper powerful ones and only cost 20p which gives you a good 5 minutes usage. The pool and facilities was well maintained and clean. Would also like to give a shout out to the female life guard on duty today who had to encounter a member of the public not abiding by the rules of using balls in the pool, who was very rude and argumentative towards her but she kept calm and professional and was just doing her job correctly at enforcing the rules for the safety and enjoyment of all customers.

It's ok for what it is! Had a refurb a few years ago. It has been tidied up but ongoing maintenance doesn't appear to be much of a priority. It's good to have a swimming pool in Ipswich but the leisure pool still lacks facilities. It does the job though

We use the pool and gym facilities at least twice a week (we being two children and one adult). The gym is clean and well equipped for its size. I have never not been able to get on the equipment I want to use. There is a no video policy which gets rid of the influencers. The staff are helpful. The leisure pool is usually the one we use. It is functional and fine for our requirements. The lane pool is usually being used for school groups, lessons, etc as is the baby pool so we do not tend to use. There are no glaring issues with crown pools however it needs dragging into the present day. The changing area tends to be cold, the showers are breaking, the wave machine gets very boring. The only food facility is vending machines. The seating area for non swimmers consists of basic tables and chairs. For what it is however, it is good. The staff are great. Lockers functional. Love the gym and booking slots for 13+ is easy.

I was only there as a spectator for my daughter's Octopush competition. Seems clean and well run. All the staff I encountered were polite and helpful.

Great pool, one small child pool, the main pool which has a wave machine which operates on a 20 minute basis & a competition pool for more serious swimmers. Unisex changing rooms with lockers & toilets & warm showers for when you come out of the pool. Always clean & tidy & not too expensive either.
