Our most enjoyable zoo day out. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The layout is cosy and encourages you to explore. The enclosures are designed well so you can actually see them, there was only one or two animals which we couldn't see.

We enjoyed a family day out while on holiday. Lots of interesting animals to see, some that we haven’t seen before, and set in a nice valley. Enjoyed our food from the cafe too. It kept our children entertained while it was raining :)

Exmoor zoo was extremely fun. One of the best zoo’s me and the wife have been too. There are many different animals and amazing viewing points that are usually highly limited due to distance. My personal favourite was the Exmoor beast, the panther had a lot of energy and was fun to play around with. They have raised platforms you can view the animals from and viewing panels straight into the enclosures. The cafe is pretty decent, we had some nachos that were pretty, a sausage roll and some ice creams. They are limited although the pricing is reasonable. I can’t say the same for the shop though, the prices of toys etc are very high.

Great little zoo with a good selection of animals and birds, the clouded leopard was amazing to see, the feeding times are worth going to and the Exmoor beast is quite an attraction and even got her to play for a minute. Lots for all to do from young to kids to adults. Staff are friendly helpful and very knowledgeable about the animals they look after. Very reasonable priced tickets was 39.90 for 2 adults. Well worth the visit especially for those with kids

It was a nice small zoo in comparison to other zoos I have been to. It was clean and tidy. We parked in the over flow car park as there was trees being taken down in the main carpark. It was only a min walk away from the entrance. For two adults visiting 2-3 hours was plenty. Some of the footpaths are very stony or uneven for those of you who are in wheelchairs or unsteady on your feet. You would need to take your time. We went during the week so it wasn't crowded and we was able to take out time walking around. There is only one set of toilets on site which is at the start of the zoo next to the cafe. There is also a play area for the kids which is another bonus to the day out. All in all a nice place to visit for a couple of hours.
