We had such a lovely day at Exploris! The aquarium was brilliant, with plenty to see, and the sea lions were definitely the highlight. The kids could have watched them for hours! We finished off with lunch in the restaurant, and it was just as good. The three kids all had the pizza and chips, and every plate was cleaned! We had the burger and chips and the loaded fries—everything was delicious. The staff were so friendly and welcoming too. A great family day out from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!
Lovely few hours spent here with the children, everything was clean and lots to see and do. Informative talks and nice food. Good selection in the gift shop. Also a great soft play area.
Pretty nice for a kids trip to look at fish and want to walk in circles and look at everythint in detail. There weren't many activites for older kids who dont want to play in the soft pit other than the stamp collection and waiting for the talks or events going on that run only about 3 or 4 times. Best recommended to have at least 2 kids that can go exploring and entertain themselves a bit rather than just a parent with a child 👍👍
My family attended here on Easter Monday. The car park was full with lots more cars trying to park so be prepared to park elsewhere + walk. There was no queue so very quick to enter. Lots of tanks and information all around. They have it as a 1 way system so you see everything they have without missing anything but staff do talks at certain tanks / places so you may need to backtrack if you are trying to keep kids entertained in the mean time. The only downside is, you have to go through the restaurant + gift shop to exit which as many parents know, kids will want food + gifts so be prepared! We got food and for main meals + a drink, for the 4 of us, the bill was just over £60.
We had a nice family day out. The aquarium is good when you go to all the different animals feeding times so make sure you set your watch. We brought food with us (picnic) and sat beside the capibaras for company. Everyone's fav where the penguins and during feeding the keeper was very informative and took time to answer everyones questions.
