A very picturesque park to walk around that is not far from Leeds city centre at all. Easy to access via public transport (the X84 route from Leeds to Ilkley stops right outside the entrance). There's plenty of benches around the park and many interesting paths through some amazing woods and around a lovely lake. There's a nice nature reserve that's next to the park called Adel Dam that's worth walking around as well if you're here. Would definitely come here again!

Lovely park & gardens, with a nice cafe. Wide paths, suitable for dog walking, buggies & cycling. The cafe was clean & had a good choice of food & drink. The gardens surrounding the cafe were beautiful, where you can sit outside. There are pools where there are ducks, swans & other wildlife. There are some gradients on the walk, which may effect your ability to get around. Car parking charges apply, even for short stays.

Golden Acre Park is one of the best places in Leeds for a peaceful walk and a bit of nature. The park is large, with beautiful woodland, gardens, and a scenic lake at the centre. The circular lakeside path is easy to follow and well maintained, making it great for families, dog walkers, and anyone just wanting a relaxing stroll. In Golden Acre Park, bluebell flowers are part of the park’s natural woodland beauty rather than formal garden displays. The park has large areas of mature woodland, which are ideal conditions for English bluebell to grow.

A very fine park with plenty to see and do. Lots of birds and the blossom in spring is very good. It's next door to Adel Dam nature reserve with more to see and do. Recommended.

My happy place , its so beautiful in the spring , lovely place to visit ,they have a cafe too , a tad expensive but nice food and coffee
