The actual castle, well what is left of it was closed on visiting, the surrounding grounds however are available to roam till about 7.20pm. It's worth a visit if you are in the area, but it is just the one turret in an elevated position with surrounding nicely laid out gardens and some other parts of the surrounding wall structures.

Beautiful castle and garden right in our backyard! The castle is very accessible with ramps around it, leading to the middle level of the castle. Here, you will have the most spectacular view of Guildford. There are lots of benches to sit on. It was not busy during a weekday evening. Nice spot to view the sunset!

It was such a lovely sight with a touch of history. It is also located in the centre of Guldford, making it easily accessible. To view the castle perimeter, it is free for all ages. It kind of look more beautiful when the sun is up and bright, giving a lovely attractions to videos and pictures. There are chairs to sit and rest in the castle. It's good for tourists and for relaxation too

Beautiful castle grounds, especially as the spring has arrived. The grounds are free to enter; however take note of the times at which the gates close. The area is very well kept, and makes for a relaxing walk. Enjoy spectacular views of Guildford from the castle entrance!
