It's a beautiful castle that allows you a peak into how an influential noble family presents themselves. The gardens are beautiful. The castle is an interesting visit; I'm not sure why anyone would choose to display hunting trophies, including a glass cabinet of stuffed native songbirds and a particularly garish display of an Eagle having captured a fawn, not to mention countless deer heads on wall mounts. I suspect the majority of people do not want to see this either, or the set of lion & lioness "rugs" in the great hall. I'm sure the majority of "trophies" are quite old, but times have thankfully changed. I'm not sure what putting these on display without any further explanation (perhaps the family is now engaged in conservation work, for example?) says about the owners. Not that I imagine they care much, given how popular blood sports remain with a certain "class" of people. Perhaps spend less time collecting rare books (cool library) and more time reading them & updating your knowledge. I'm sure I'll be back because it's an interesting place to visit. Definitely add the bedrooms to your ticket if they are available for viewing when you visit (they are often not I was told), as there's a lot to see.

Very stunning and impressive, the castle exterior alone is a massively beautiful sight which goes on and on. And then there’s the walled gardens which were just beautiful. The Inside features at Arundel Castle. Mind blowing to be honest. Some stunning treasures, structures, architecture and paintings. And it was like a labyrinth of corridors and rooms. Well and truly worth a visit.

I think this castle is worth every penny. It was beautiful and large. You need a few hours to go around everywhere. The castle inside and the garden outside were beautiful as well. If you are hungry or just want a cup of tea or coffee, you can have it inside the castle. There are a lot of staff everywhere. We had a lot of questions inside the castle, and they were so nice, kind, and informative. So, thank you for the lovely day out and for the staff for keeping this castle nice, clean, and tidy, and well done to the gardeners as well. The garden is... Wooow!😁🥰🩷

An absolutely magnificent castle with beautiful grounds. While much of the interior is no longer original, the charm has been preserved. The gardens are in exceptionally good condition, and it’s clear that a great deal of work goes into maintaining them. You can easily spend several hours exploring all the different areas. We also took a free tour; our guide was absolutely fantastic and brought the history of this place to life with great passion.

A beautifully preserved castle and gardens with occasional events for all the family. I thought this castle was small but it's actually massive inside with huge rooms and many artefacts over the ages. Lots of places to walk and beware of steep and narrow stairs to the top. The views are so worth it and you can spend several hours on site. The gardens are a delight and worth seeing too. I would love to visit again
