What a lovely place. Warm water, nice and clear. Great family vist.

What a wonderful and vibrant place. The huts are adorable. I am not a big fun of pebbles, but they work. Very relaxing experience. Closer to the pier, it gets more alive. Many ice cream places, cafes. Plenty of live music performances and loads to do for adults and families. I will definitely return in the nearest future. Loved my day trip from London to unlondon. Walk to Whitstable is very nice also. Few places to rest on the way.

Well recommend this beach for stress free family fun, friends day out, motorbike meets or a isolated day out. Nice large car park as well as street parking, unfortunately you have to pay for both, unless your on a motorbike then park infront of the old clock tower for free. A nice walkway with gardens, childrens play area, grand/bandstand with public toilets, sandy beach as well as a pebbly beach, pier, amusements and restaurants/ ice cream places, cafes etc all stretched along the front. It was nice and quiet and the staff in every pub etc i visited were lovley. A rarity nowadays but they also had cold water showers on the beachfront. Dog friendly, wheelchair friendly.

One of the best beaches in Kent, even though it's tiny pebbles and shingles, it's easy to walk through, the promenade is clean and toilets in strategic places, good food outlets, good for long walks, must visit when in Herne bay,

Love this beach, so lovely and peaceful. Such a trendy little area. Beautiful Pebble beach. Lovely town n really nice locals & visitors around like no drunks etc. it's great for the families and everyone who is looking for a great time, family fun or picnic. U can get amazing photos of sunrise or sunset. Plenty of options for places to eat or drink around the beach. More in high street which is not far. This town is really good for seafood. Pier is a place of fun.
