⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Joss Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Kent coast. The wide sandy beach is perfect for families, swimming, relaxing or simply enjoying a walk along the shoreline. The water is usually clear, and at low tide there’s plenty of sand to explore. It’s also a popular spot for surfing and paddleboarding, making it a great beach whether you want to be active or just unwind. The surrounding cliffs and coastal views are stunning, and there are lovely walks to nearby beaches such as Botany Bay and Kingsgate Bay. With a friendly atmosphere and excellent facilities nearby, it’s easy to see why Joss Bay is such a popular destination. A fantastic beach that we’ll definitely keep coming back to.

Very big sandy beach. The sea isn't clean. There's a lot of seaweed pieces floating everywhere. But the beach offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Big car park, nice food kiosk.

A lovely beach, very shallow gradient so very child friendly. Has a small cafe and public toilets. A great place for a day at the beach.

Joss Bay is still a lovely stretch of sand, and overall it’s a really nice beach. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed a bit more littering lately, so it’s not quite as pristine as it used to be which is a real shame. Regardless, it’s still a fantastic place for a beach day. The rock pools here are absolutely amazing and great for exploring. There are plenty of opportunities to spot shellfish like sea snails and crabs and even a lobster if you are lucky. Definitely worth a visit, just hope people start taking better care of it and packing up their rubbish.

Joss Bay Beach is as lovely and spacious as always! Plenty of room to relax, with toilets and a car park conveniently available. Perfect spot for a family vacation. There’s a bit of seaweed and some stones in the water, so be careful as they can be sharp, especially for kids. On a sunny day, it’s absolutely perfect! Plus, you can enjoy ice cream, bars, and delicious fish and chips nearby.
