More than just owls. Definitely worth a visit, is cheap to get in too. Highly recommend this for family days out

Me & my partner popped down here today not knowing what to expect after initially being taken close-by by the sat nav we found it and the centre isn’t the biggest but it’s certainly one hidden gem if you like animals. A good range of small animals, well looked after by very good staff, only £3.50 to get in + you can get a hand stamp to keep going in & out as you might as just over the road is Kirkleatham Walled Gardens with its lovely cafe inside serving a range of hot & cold food, you have to pay extra if you want to go around the gardens and another plus is the parking is free next to the kids play area. Will definitely be back.

Have visited twice in the last 12 months. Great price to see a very varied selection of birds and small mammals. Always found it clean and very well maintained, with lots of nice greenery and plants, clean enclosures etc. They have a little show where some of the birds come out and fly for food etc and it's very informative. Has a cute little gift shop at entrance selling a range of knick knacks and soft toys etc. you can but food to feed some of the animals. It's nestled in a beautiful wodlland type area with the museum and walled garden easy 2 minute walks either way so plenty to do in the area to make a day of it.

Great place for adults and children alike, prices that wont break the bank, lots of birds and owls , meerkat, guinea pigs , lovely little garden and an education centre for children , small shop.

Lovely little hour spent here as a family. Nice variety of birds and owls, as well as some other little animals like the meerkats, Guinea pigs, and rabbits. Loved the free roaming peacocks. Nice and clear information on all cages. Will definitely return with my child again. Nice and clean and staff were lovely and informative.
