Don’t waste your time. Possibly the most unhygienic place I’ve ever been to. Went on Wednesday morning with my son, walked into the changing rooms which smelt like the waste trap of a urianal. The splash pad pool was covered in sediment looked like it hasn’t been cleaned out in weeks. All the overflow grates was filthy. Don’t waste you time or money. This place should be ashamed!!!

Gave the gym a second chance after cancelling my membership the first time. However the projector in the studio has been broken for months and therefore all virtual classes are cancelled until the replacement projector comes which shows no sign of materialising. Absolutely Impossible to get onto the more popular fitness classes. But they don’t seem to change the timetable to include more of the popular classes . And a really clunky website. Cancelled my membership. Really frustrating .

My son has been attending swimming lessons here for close to 2years. In the first year he did well, but then the classes got bigger and it seems to be more about rinsing the parent of their money than teaching. An example would be that the children are assessed (sporadic and no organisation for assessments) and my son has gone from 9/12 being signed off to now 6/12 despite me watching him do the tasks in front of the instructor. They have even used my child to demonstrate tasks as does it so well, yet they now say he can’t do these tasks?? I have paid over £700 on lessons and have attended every single lesson since July ‘24 and my son is still not able to swim, in fact according to THEIR assessments, he is unable to walk 5meters forward…… after nearly 2 YEARS of lessons every single week. So I think that shows they’re either falsely assessing or doing a very poor job at teaching if that were to be true (it’s not as he’s done that since day1). I raised concerns in December ‘25 regarding his progression and asked if there were days with smaller classes, to which I was told a date. We started on that day and the class was just as busy and no quieter! Since the move in January we have gone through multiple instructors. The classes are so big the children are often left on the sides half the lesson waiting for the instructor to go back and forth with each child, getting cold and bored. For the amount you pay, I expect a lot more. My brother pays half of what I pay for his sons lessons and also gets unlimited free access to the pool included in the plan. I’m tempted to drive my son to the FoD as would still be cheaper than this place! Very embarrassed that I’ve let them scam me for so long, and I hope no-one else falls for it. I shall be going elsewhere and it will be interesting to see how he progresses there as from talks of other parents who have had the same experience (there’s a lot of us it turns out), they’ve progressed up a stage immediately!

This place made for a lovely leisure experience, where the staff checked me and my friend in smoothly at the counter! The changing rooms are definitely properly sized, lockers are free while secure and entrance is easy through the electronic gates. We relaxed an on and off hot tub, where a sauna and steam room are then able to proceeded into as well as spa beds to put our towels back on!

Went to watch Extreme Robots. Well organised and a very enjoyable show. The venue was a nice temperature for watching the show. Seating is not too bad, generally good views. Parking a little awkward, I think we were lucky to get a parking space
