Fantastic Zoo To Visit! A Brilliant Day Out With Plenty Of Animals To See and Nice Surroundings To Walk Around. The Whole Park Has A Relaxed, Family-Friendly Atmosphere. Definitely Worth A Visit If You’re In The Tenby Area!

Visiting with the family one of which was our senior citizen mum whom has walking difficulties. Wheelchair access(if a little bumpy) was fine,did see others with scooters making ease of the terrain. The park owned by Ana Rider Richardson whom is a very handsome on,we had thw pleasure to see on our visit and greeted our mum with a hug after saying how we loved to watch her shows. The park was very nice with all the creatures and animals from rhino's too emu's too red bears and monkeys. Great places for kids with a soft play area and good food and drink and of course ice cream!! We were lucky enough to be there when the Sumartra tigers whom are on the endangered list to be thriving here thanks to a conservation program,to see them enjoy a 'birthday'meal with her cubs. All in all a very nice day out round the park and very nice to meet and greet its owner. Staff were A class too,very helpful, very cheerful...a great job too have there.

As a wheelchair user, I was incredibly impressed with the accessibility. The paths are easy to navigate and well maintained. As well as quite uniquely, i was also able to do all the animal walk throughs! Normally these extra experiences are never suitable, or accessible, for wheelchairs! Its an amazing place for young kids as it has a variety of indoor and out door play as well as animals! However, it really is a lovely place for a day trip no matter your age. The good variety of animals all have spacious enclosures and are clearly well taken care of. Theres also a good cafe on site, which is really reasonable price wise, along with ample places to enjoy a picnic. (Even benches that are designed for a wheelchair, which im yet to see in any other zoo!) We've done a few of their animal feeding experiences as well, which are out of this world and worth every penny! Lastly, the animals are all completely viewable from the wheelchair, which is a rarity - we do a lot of animal centred days, and normally a good portion aren't visible to me due to solid fences or low down viewing windows designed for for toddlers not the disabled. There wasn't a problem seeing even the smallest of creatures here!

Lovely visit to the park today! Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely enclosures for the animals with there welfare/ needs in mind. All the animals seemed happy and well cared for. Decent walk around the whole site. Was quiet today so animals seemed really relaxed. Lots of activities for children. Toilets at the cafe are currently under construction but lots od provisions made to make the cafe accessible and temporary toilets made available also.

It's a nice place to go but does feel like it needs a lot more work on the enclosures, every enclosure is roughly the same, couple of trees and a field of grass, would be nice if each animal had a piece of the land they came from, more effort it the presentation. The animals are a nice collection but again, some enclosures seem a little small. The cost of admission is to high in my opinion for what you experience in overall walking around, there is quite a few unused enclosure's that stand empty and overgrown that were there before, there are a few enclosure's where the animal pools stand empty and unused, and you can see it's been that way for a while. Overall the experience was OK, but I do believe it needs a lot of love, maintenance and updating. I will say I did see some improvements with sheltered viewing points now but that was pretty much it. I would recommend visiting once so you can experience it for yourself, be prepared for everything to be overpriced.
