Great place to look round. A lot of thought put into the exhibits. Is all accessible with lift and ramps. Plenty of parking close by. Cafe serving drinks and freshly prepared hot and cold food. Surrounded by beautiful gardens/parkland. Dog friendly! Allow 2-3 hours.

No visit to Weymouth is complete without heading up to the Nothe Fort. Been going to Weymouth for the past 20 years and every time I look forward to heading back to the Fort. The Fort offers an annual pass for the price of one visit which we paid £11 which is great value especially if you're there for a week. It's a great place to find out about the history of Weymouth and Portland which is very interesting. So much to see over 3 levels including, the ghost tunnels and the nuclear bunker. Highly recommend this amazing place to all. Staff and volunteers are very friendly and helpful.

Brilliant that this historic site has been saved and is an informative day out. Dog friendly. Pirate week when we visited. Really cool temperature inside the buildings despite being hot outside. Entry tickets valid for a year. Would recommend

We had an amazing couple of hours at Nothe Fort. It was so interesting and my son and I loved exploring all the different levels and experiencing the views. It was so interesting and great that there was a variety of rooms with photos, videos, replicas and so much more. There was so much to see and learn and it was just fascinating. There were also Easter activities and games for the kids which was great! Would definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area. Parking was really easy and there is also a lift to get to the different levels if you are less mobile so you wouldn’t miss a thing! I am so glad that we visited. The staff were also so lovely and so helpful. There was also a cafe, a gift shop and toilets.

Interesting historical site with artillery exhibits, educational displays and nuclear bunker. There was also a personal treasure exhibit on our visit. It’s dog friendly and pushchair friendly. We went on Mother’s Day and they did a very reasonably priced, generously portioned and delicious Mother’s Day afternoon tea board (I’d eaten most of it before taking the photo). You get an annual pass with your ticket by default. I’d give it 6 stars if I could!
