I cannot recommend Porthcawl Surf School enough! Our instructor, Emma, was amazing with our pupils. She was incredibly patient and was particularly good with one of our pupils with additional learning needs. Everyone had such a fun day. Thank you so much.

Fantastic surf lesson! Emma was absolutely amazing - friendly, patient, encouraging and a brilliant instructor. She explained everything clearly, made me feel confident in the water. She made the whole experience so much fun from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Had such an amazing time in the beginner class. Emma was our instructor and cant recommend her enough. The lesson was great for the step by step process for complete beginners or if you're like me and haven't surfed for years. Was great fun 😁

Couldn't recommend Porthcawl Surf School more! Had the most amazing beginner tuition from Emma and Tod. In the 4 week course I've progressed a lot at popping up quicker and identifying waves. I've since caught a few green waves too! Can't wait to book the intermediate too!

Fantastic surf lesson. Emma was an excellent teacher including things like how to wax the surfboard before heading out which I've not had in other lessons. She also gave us individual advice on how to improve. By the end, we were all standing up on the boards. The price was very reasonsable too with the board, full wetsuit (including hood), wetsuit boots and gloves included in the price of the lesson. The location itself too is excellent, great waves, superb facilities and accessible location. Would highly recommend, and will be back in the future.
