The tide is so fast here you barely get any chance to be in the water. There are only 4 toilets for the entire beach, parking is good and very cheap £4 all day, quite rocky unless you enter by the lifeguard station. The council has provided mostly grate facilities they could give more toilets, but inherently tide so fast it's kinda of waste of time to go here

Well, going to Rest Bay was a mistake...ok, it's the hottest day of the year and bank holiday but that beach could really do with better facilities. Four toilets for hundreds of people and they are some distance from the beach with poor access... They really could do with some toilets etc closer to the beach. Or at least an ice cream van. 🍦

A stunning beach, with lots of activities going on. You can hire body biards, surf boards and equipment at the cafe, there are loads of deals and packages to choose from and the prices are reasonable too. You can walk from Candleston Castle to Ogmore Castle, through Merthyr Mawr over the big dipper and across the many beaches to Kenfig Nature Reserve. It's a long walk there and back but the views are breathtaking.

Lovely beach. With lots of little stalls and arcades for Tue kids lots of little restaurants and bars for all ages and a theme park ice cream Parlours and there is plenty of room on the beach with space. And the main car park is £5:00 all day 👍
