Lovely walled garden set out as separate garden rooms including vegetable gsrden. Very calm and not overly busy. Wider grounds around hall designed by capability brown with lakes and trees. Nice cafe.

Beautiful walled garden , very interesting house tour with a super guide and parkland to stroll. Cake and coffee were super. Would definitely recommend you visit.

Had a wonderful visit on 17 June. Plenty of car parking available. Absolutely stunning gardens, so well kept. House tour was well worth going to with a lovely guide. Cafe had plenty of tables to sit at with both inside and outside sitting. The weather was good so able to sit outside. Bought a plant from the garden centre which was growing in the garden. Scampston Hall and Walled Gardens is well worth a visit.

Lovely place, but not much was in flower. The aviary and cascade walks were okay, but expected actual aviaries and more cascading cascades. The Cascade (16) was in good flow though. Seeing the geese with their chicks on the lake was lovely. Plenty of information boards telling the history which was appreciated. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. Glad we've been, not sure if we'd go again unless we're close to the area.

Fabulous walled garden and parkland. We visited at the end of April on a lovely sunny day and you could see how magnificent the walled garden would look in summer. Note, dogs are not allowed in the walled garden, but plenty of walks and interest in the parklands. Pity the rock garden has fallen into disrepair but I’m sure it’s on the list of things to do! Lovely small cafe with inside and outside seating, but not the greatest selection to eat. Would still recommend and we will be back.
