Free to enter, small car park for say 3 vehicles, nice for a half hour visit.

Well kept set of local ruins I'd not heard of before today. Access to the upper section was locked so you could only walk around at ground level which didn't take long. Small carpark, enough for 2 cars. There is a footpath that follows the river below the castle grounds if you want to keep your dig occupied.

The castle is silently sitting on a hill, looks like he is still watching and protecting the little village down the view. Love to touch and feel the texture of every stone on the wall, going back to the life of those days in this castle.

Built in the early 14th century, a small part of the castle still stands of what that would have been a spectacular sight set in the Welsh countryside of Cowbridge, the castle can still captivate the mind of a time gone bye, and still worth a visit.

If you're visiting the beautiful town of Cowbridge, the small, free castle ruins are worth visiting. There is a small car park, but be warned the access road is quite narrow. There are a few information boards around the site. Wonderful views overlooking the surrounding countryside and a great place to go walking.
