Well worth a visit if you are in the area. It is free to enter and had an interesting exhibition of things people collect. They had art and pottery by local artists displayed and for sale. A nice shop and cafe. It's on a really nice park as well , with lots of parking which is pay and display.

A great museum set in the lovely park grounds at Bideford. Unique collections on display aswell as craft items for sale. The coffee shop is also worth a visit aswell.

What a wonderful place the Burton Gallery...so much to see. The Gallery had an amazing selection of art I could have spent half a day.The Museum was a wonderful exhibition of old artefacts relating the history of Bideford and the items on display included some more more pottery. So much to see. The shop had so much to offer and the talent amazing. The books available were the best selection I have ever seen.

What an amazing place. Randomly came across it while exploring Bideford on holiday. Loads to see and the gift shop is lovely. Everyone is really nice and helpful. There's a Yinka Shonibare exhibition on at the moment which is a must-see!

Excellent museum, shop (and cafe). Free perm exhibition upstairs showing natural materials through history in the local area. Fantastic shop selling high quality books, prints, local artist work, cards, games and other gifts.
