We absolutely love the place. The staff are all amazing! They all look very happy and are so good with the kids! I really like the no nonsense attitude of the staff too! The falconer is very strict but with every need to be! So if you have a little one that can’t sit still then the bird show isn’t for you but my 4 year old loves it. The birds fly very low and close and with speed so it’s very understandable he’s so safety conscious. The birds are amazing! The show is very informative and you can see the falconer loves his birds ❤️ Merlin is brilliant! He’s our favourite part of the day and we made sure we saw both his show! The science show was fantastic and his magic show has made our 4 year old decide she wants to learn magic now, so look out merlin, she’s coming for you next time with her own tricks 😂. We love the amount of things there is to do! Rides, play areas, shows. Definitely a full day out ❤️

Absolutely brilliant. This place has it all and you can easily spend a day there! All of the staff we came across were happy, helpful and great with the kids. The rollercoasters were great. Our 5-year old tried the big one but wasn't keen at all after he got off. Our 2-year old loved the caterpillar one, as did all our other kids. The train ride is lovely and gives a good sense of being on an old steam train. The exhibitions and indoor rides are all super fun, and most of them are accessible even to very young kids (2-years+). There are a few things that your ticket price doesn't include, but honestly, they're not even that exciting and can easily be skipped. There are areas that need a lick of paint or a new carpet but I'd say 90% of this place is well kept and tidy. We didn't have any food so can't comment there - we took a picnic and our own drinks. The highlight for me was the falconry show. The falconer has the birds flying in-between the crowd as close as a foot away from you. He's very knowledgeable and keeps you engaged throughout. Our kids loved it but did want to get up and go to the giant outdoor bouncy hills about 5-mins from the end of the show. We will be going back to this place and will most likely go each time we return to Devon.

Another fantastic visit to The Milky Way, the friendliest place to visit with lovely staff who are always very helpful and friendly. Both Bird of Prey shows were fantastic the man I know does this twice a day every day but it’s always with so much enthusiasm, interesting facts and humour and it wows me every time. The science show was funny and the pair worked well together. I love how the park albeit full of people never feels too busy and you can move about the park from thing to thing with ease and little or no queuing to go on things this is amazing! All the staff seem to enjoy their jobs and want to be at work and are talkative and helpful and happy to chat and interact again this is fantastic and unique not many places give off this vibe, credit to them all :) thank you again for filling a whole day for us there is never enough time as we love it so much, maybe stay open until 6 we always find that last hour a rush having done everything but want to do a few a couple more times and have a last minute cuppa before the drive home. We like to come a couple of times a year and it never disappoints / thank you :)

A wonderful family day out at the Milkyway Adventure Park in Bideford! We are currently away on holiday and since the weather took a turn we were looking for a day out that we could all enjoy - but with two labradors with us it’s not always easy! We came across this place online that said it allows well behaved dogs in, and I was apprehensive at first if we were going to be able to enjoy the park to the fullest due to restrictions on where dogs could go and also mentions in previous reviews about dogs not being encouraged etc, however upon arrival the lovely lady who welcomed us was very clear in explaining the areas that they could not go (which is very few to be honest, not near the birds / outside during the bird show, and not in the under 6’s soft play area). Our children loved the park, there is so much for them to do there and there was no wait times.. It is an unusual place as there is a real mix of everything, we all had a lovely time and if we are ever in this area again I am sure we will revisit. All of the staff were so friendly, always someone around within earshot if you needed help finding anything, happy to answer any questions and they all seemed very happy to have the dogs there and made sure to stop us to let us know we are more than welcome with the dogs in the science & family show… The restaurant was reasonably priced and they were happy to make our order easy to carry as we wanted to take it away to eat in the picnic area as our children had food with them… Whilst it was a shame dogs were not permitted in the seating area for the under 6’s soft play, there is a section where you can sit with your dogs inside but children also have space to play. There is a area with ride on bikes, sandpit, baby area & balloon section that our little ones could play whilst we could also sit with the dogs as watch them, as well as large indoor slides and a soft play/ obstacle course for all ages type section where the dogs were able to sit with us while we could watch our toddler play. During the indoor and outdoor bird show we took it in turns to sit with the dogs whilst one of us watched the show so we still got to see them… The shows were great along with the magic show, definitely worth a watch. The pottery painting section looked lovely! My children are a bit too young to do activities like that, but for older ages it looked great. There is an additional cost however the prices all seemed very reasonable considering the items you could paint… I was also very happy to find that the gift shop at the end wasn’t exaggerated prices, there were many items there if you were on a budget as these family days do add up in cost. All in all it was a brilliant day out for all of the family, including our dogs, I would say younger children would probably get the most out of this park, however there were sections that the older children would love, it was nice to find somewhere that we could all enjoy as a family together and I do think the prices were reasonable considering the varied activities… Thank you for a fantastic day out :)

A great day out for the kids. The bird of prey display was fantastic, both for us parents and the kids. My eldest thought that the crazy golf was a touch small. Both really enjoyed the ninja stars area, and the pottery painting kept them engaged for a very long time. We would recommend visiting Milky Way, but would likely not visit again if we were in the area
