Was an experience to remember, well worth the money and beautiful accommodation as well as access to private swimming pool on the castle grounds a mere 1 minute walk from the apartment. Castle entry included and the kids were amazed by the theme park! If you want a quite and private stay, this is the one for you.

We loved this place. It’s like stepping back in time. It’s like a theme park from a bygone era. My kids are 7, 11 and 13 and all lived the trip there. I wouldn’t recommend kids older than that though. Plenty for them to do and see and more than enough to keep them entertained for the whole day. Great place to visit.

I visited during the Easter holidays with three children aged 7,8 & 10. They all found it enjoyable. We spent the whole day here as there was loads to do. The little arcade machines all take 10p & 2p so good to have plenty of these with you as the change machine was not working on our visit. The gardens are on some very steep hills so not very accessible for anyone with limited mobility. I would recommend this place to anyone with children 10 and under for a fun day out.

We had a great day out at Watermouth Castle. Whether you’re into history, fairy tales, rides or gorgeous gardens, it’s super quirky and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Plenty of free parking and absolutely stunning views. Lots of space for picnics and plenty of places to buy food and drink if you don’t want to take your own.

Watermouth Castle is a very curious place to explore. There are lots of interactives for children to enjoy, along with museum-like aspects to them that also seem quite fun. It's just so different and out there! We did a full review on our blog, Life with Jupiter and Dann.
