We were a bit disappointed to be honest. We still had to pay full price(per adult £6) even though there were several things blocked off due to renovations. It definitely took away from the full experience. I understand that renovations are necessary, but perhaps a discounted rate during the construction?

Partially ruined Castle but also had exhibits to see. Some of it was currently closed due to restoration works. Nice views from the castle walls. Reasonable admission fee. Plenty of parking.

We visited here en route to the Giants Causeway. It's a small, well preserved castle with some great views of the surrounding harbour and water. Entry is very reasonable at £6. There are plenty of rooms and exhibits to view, all full with information easily accessible. Some people with accessibility issues may find the stairs challenging, especially up and down to the top floor. Great little place.

Fantastic Anglo-Norman castle. It is very intact so you can explore inside and out. Great value entry at just £6.00! Good views over the North Sea. Well worth a visit. Easy to get to get to by train from Belfast. The journey itself is very nice, with lovely scenery and sea views along the route.

Beautiful wee castle and walking trails with food vans, toilets, plenty of parking and plenty of history. We were driving down the scenic coastal drive towards Giant Causeway and stopped here to look around and grab something to eat. It turned to be a nice place to spend 1.5 hrs despite not going into the castle which is ticketed at £6 approx.
