Manorbier Castle isn't one of the largest Welsh castles, especially when compared with places like Caernarfon Castle, but the admission price reflects that, making it decent value for money. I'd definitely recommend combining a visit with some time at the beach or a walk along the coastal path. The beach is beautiful, and the same car park serves both the castle and the beach, which is really convenient. The car park wasn't full even on a summer holiday Sunday. There was also enough space for a large car which has been challenging around Tenby in general! The castle itself is interesting, with plenty of historical information to read. Personally, I'd have loved even more exhibits and interpretation, but it's good for a relaxed visit with children. We also enjoyed a lovely coffee while we were there, making for a really pleasant hour or so.

Reasonable entrance fee. Park at beach car park, turn right and cross road into secret garden to gain entrance. Very limited parking otherwise. When we visited a huge tent was being erected in readiness for a wedding. The most spectacular venue I have ever visited, with a 12 bedroom beautiful cottage and private garden also available on site. Plenty of history with fun pirate themed activities for children and nice walks surrounding it.

The Castle and surrounding areas are a genuine hidden Gem in West Wales. The cost to enter the Castle was reasonable and had a nice little cafe. The Towers offered some amazing views of the entire area.

As a South and West Wales wedding photographer I can highly recommend Manorbier Castle for your wedding venue. A very unique venue, stunning and ancient rooms from bridal prep to the ceremony. The Castle is exclusive only on the day of a wedding which allows you and your guests the freedom to enjoy the wonderful grounds and rooms of the castle. The added bonus to this venue is Manorbier beach. Just a few minutes walk from the venue and the perfect opportunity to get beach photos later in the day. The staff at the venue were brilliant all day. Very friendly, helpful and making sure that the day runs perfectly well. If you are planning a wedding here then get in touch with me for more details.

A really great castle. Park at the bottom of the hill. You have to pay. The cost to get in is not alot in my opinion. There lots of uneven steps and also it can be very tight in the passenges. You can spend 2 to 3 hours here. All in all great castle.
